Hi all

I hope this finds you in good spirits and are all ready to go for our 1st week of Cul Camp starting on Monday morning.

Just a few things for the week:

  1. There are no peanut or peanut butter products allowed on site during the week as we have some participants who have a peanut allergy.

  2. We will have 2 lunch breaks during the day, so please ensure that your children have enough food and water for that.

  3. There will be a small sweet shop on site during the 2 lunch breaks if any of the participants would like to buy a sweet treat.

  4. Make sure your child's name is on all clothes, bags and equipment. There will be a lost and found table available in the morning where people can check for lost items.

  5. We will be using the grass pitches for all our activities this week so please make sure all participants are wearing the correct footwear for this. Multi stud boots would be the preferred option with the grass pitches being quite hard at the moment.

  6. If you need to collect your child/children early from camp during the week, they will need to signed out with me before they can leave.

  7. Camp hours are 10am - 2pm. Children can be dropped down from 9.45am onwards and will need to be collected @ 2pm.

  8. Camp registration takes place Monday morning from 9.30am on the all weather pitch. Please look for your child/children's year of birth on the table to sign them in

  9. All participants will need a hurley, helmet, gumshield, gloves as they will be playing Hurling/Camogie & Football during the camp. The club does not provide any spares that people can borrow.

During the week, we will endeavour to ensure all participants have as much fun as possible. We encourage all participants to engage with all the activities, in particular the ones that they might not have done before.

We will be keeping a close eye on the weather forecast throughout the week and will keep you posted if there are any alterations or cancellations.

Finally, parking is limited in the club grounds for the week due to Pitch 4 being closed. There will be a Drop & Go system in place by Pitch 4 if parents are happy to just drop their children off.

ALL CARS NEED TO BE REVERSE PARKED FOR EASE OF EXIT. Please follow the instructions from our Volunteers each morning and evening.

All people need to use the walkways provided due to the large volume of traffic that will be in and out of the club grounds.

Where possible, we ask that you either walk to the club or use alternative parking (Lidl, Edmund Rice/Educate Together road or the Kilnagleary Industrial Park/Crosshaven Walk car park - which are all close by). If you are parking in the club, please arrive early as collection time @ 2pm will be the busiest part of the day.

Please keep an eye on all club Social Media pages and the ClubZap parent groups for more details on parking and collection points (see below)

If you have any issues with anything during the week, don't hesitate to contact me.

Looking forward to seeing you all on Monday morning
