🔵🟡Carrigaline Senior Footballers kicked off their 2025 Premier Senior Championship campaign in dramatic style this evening, securing a nail biting 2:11 to 1:13 victory over Carbery Rangers.

It was a tense and tightly contested encounter from the outset, with Carrigaline showing real attacking intent early on. A well taken goal helped them into a 1:3 to 0:3 lead by the 20 minute mark, before extending it to 1:4 to 0:4 as the first half drew to a close.

Carbery fought back strongly in the second half, closing the gap and landing some fine scores of their own. But Carrigaline responded with grit and determination, finding a second crucial goal to keep their noses in front as the clock ticked down.

The final few minutes were edge of the seat stuff, with Carbery pushing hard for an equaliser, but Carrig held firm, showing excellent game management and composure to seal a memorable one point win.
